Selling Your Company, Step 2:
Prepare a Representation Proposal for Sale of Your Company
Assuming that after our initial meeting you and we are interested in working together, we will prepare a representation proposal for you. It will cover estimated valuation range, asking price recommendation, basic marketing strategy, commission structure, and more.
With rare exception, we do not require any upfront payment. We are paid a commission upon closing of a sale. We generally do require an exclusive representation agreement of at least five months.
If you agree to our proposal, we move on to discretely marketing your company.
